The Ford Museum turned to Macs when they needed to secure 5 irreplaceable vehicles for transport across country and arrive in perfection condition. The Macs Pro Pack gives you the same confidence when transporting your precious cargo.

STRONG AND DEPENDABLE

The Pro Pack includes our best selling 2 inch ratchet straps assemblies, each rated at 10,000lb load capacity, giving you plenty of safety margin.

Only the highest quality strap material is used, which significantly improves chafing and UV resistance over “standard” straps.

The axle ends are sewn with more than double the stitch count and an 8″ long stitch area. This reduces the stresses in this critical region.

EASY RELEASE RATCHET

Recent design changes to our ratchet handles make them better than ever! The strap mandrel is now free-wheeling, eliminating any “stickiness” common when adjusting most other ratchets.

The one piece handle and addition of mandrel caps makes this handle 40% more rigid and keeps debris out of the moving parts.

SOFT, DETACHABLE AXLE STRAPS PROTECT YOUR CAR’S FINE FINISH

Each axle strap is double wrapped for the utmost in protection: The inner Cordura® sleeve protects the axle strap from nicks and cuts, while the soft, outer 3/8″ padded fleece sleeve protects the vehicle’s paint or chrome finish and is removable for washing.

Choose between 24″ or 40″ axle strap lengths to ensure best fit when securing around your axle, undercarriage or through-the-wheel.

The axle strap is detachable, in case you need to use the strap on its own.

INTRODUCING OUR NEW “DIRECT HOOK” END OPTION

We offer both “sewn” and “direct hook” end configurations, however the direct hook is by far the most popular, since it keeps the ratchet handle out from under your chassis.

The sewn end is the traditional end configuration, where a fixed length of webbing separates the attachment hook from the ratchet handle.

The Direct Hook option connects the attachment hook directly to the ratchet handle, moving it out to your attach point to give you superior access, especially in cases where chassis clearance might be a problem. We recommend this end style for most applications.

CONVENIENT STORAGE

Your Pro Pack kit comes with Macs Strap Wraps. After securing your vehicle, use these to neatly hold excess strapping in place.

And when you’ve arrived, use them to bundle each strap for storage in the included heavy duty Macs padded bag. The tough canvas body is ready to handle your tie down hardware, with a heavy-duty, large-lug zipper that is easily grasped when holding gloves. An internal frame supports the bag when open, making the contents more accessible. The integral handles are made of black webbing that wraps around the bottom for better weight support and a hook-and-loop strap wraps around the handles to keep them together for easy transport.

We carefully sew and assemble each tie down strap in our Sandpoint Idaho shop, allowing to retain a level of quality that is often lost to outsource. Plus, we feel good about creating American jobs!

CUSTOMIZE YOUR KIT:

• Strap Length: Choose between 6 and 8 foot strap lengths.
• Axle Strap Length: The 24″ length is perfect for securing around the axle or undercarriage. The 40″ length can be used through-the-wheel of vehicles with low ground clearance and is long enough for most wide tires.
• Ratchet End Configuration: The “Direct Hook” is typically the best choice, since it moves the ratchet out from under the car. Our “Sewn End” is an option for when unusual space constraints or trailer configurations don’t allow for the Direct Hook option.
• Color: Choose from several strap colors to complement your car or trailer.
